Last nite the lovely and talented-in-all-things-culinary Julia Crain and I made some rhubarb pielettes. We used cupcake tins instead of your standard pie plate and the result was both adorable and delicious. We're definitely trying other flavors soon (My suggestions: raspberry and peach). They'd be absolutely perfect for a birthday if someone's not a big cake fan, right? Yum.

This was such a wonderful project! I brought some to my workshop group and I was just as happy with the color today. I can't wait to try raspberry and pumpkin!!
