Okay, so a little thing called the holidays happened and I got completely burnt out. I could feel it coming and I should have pulled back on some things but once I get a goal set, I seem to do everything in my power to accomplish that and forget about silly things such as sleep or doing laundry and especially blogging. Well, in the new year you can look forward to many new, exciting and rough and tumble things coming out of this guy, which santa brought me this year.

Also, another picture from this site.

Can you tell I'm ready for a complete apartment overhaul? Hmmm... THAT may have to wait. On the otherhand, I don't really need to eat dinner EVERY nite, do I?

Oh my god! I found this here and I'm so in love! I don't know if I'm ambitious enough to think I'd get something this large done, but I definitely will do something smaller like this. LOVE the felt flowers.

I have so many things to be happy and thankful for this month. I need to do a feww proper updates before Christmas but until then, here's some pictures of the lovely ornaments I've been getting in the mail from my ornament swap buddies. There are pictures of more ornaments from other swap groups here and that's where I nabbed these pics from, since my buddies were smart and took pics before they sent them off. I, on the otherhand, did not! So if pictures appear of my goodies in this flickr pool, I'll be sure to post a link.
Happy, happy Tuesday all!

Super Colossal Holiday Sale

Wow! I can't believe this is almost here. The sale at Scrap was amazing last weekend. I met some cool people, sold TONS of card cases and just had a great time. With this big sale coming up this weekend, however, I can really feel myself getting burned out. Sitting in front of my sewing machine, I just sort of feel defeated. So then, of course, I go to my screen printing supplies and get started on some onesies and scarves, but that makes me feel disorganized and messy. Ugh. Regardless, I know this weekend is going to be sooooo fun! I will have tons of merchandise and we got our booth assignments and I'm really happy with my location. It's on a corner, meaning I have space for both my lime green table with wallets and other accessories, along with space for my clothing rack with all the onesies on it!
If you are in Portland this weekend, please stop by and say 'hi'. It's Sunday December 16th at Norse Hall on NE 11th and Couch from 11am-5pm. The first 200 people in the door get a free goodie bag and there is a full bar there as well. I can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday in December. I'll definitely have a hot toddie in my hand!

This is Where it all Begins...

Just put something new up in the shop. I will be putting new things up for the next few days and then I think that will be it until after the holidays. Too much to do with the show on Saturday and and next Sunday. This picture is what an order looks like before I ship it off. I've got the item all wrapped up, a freebie card, a business card and the envelope. I started including this when I post a new item. I think it's nice for people to know what to expect when they order from me!

Heaps of Scrap!

Come say 'hi' this weekend at Scrap on N. Williams for their recycled/repurposed holiday bazaar and bakesale! (oh yes, my friend Matt is making my 'baked good' and I don't know what says Christmas more than horse shaped sugar cookies!)
It will be from 11am-6pm and I will be there with all my bookcover accessories. I've even got some new goodies to show.
Sorry for the blogging absence. I have lots to talk about and pictures to show but I'm so busy getting ready for this show and getting our holiday decorations up. A quick thankyouthankyouthankyou to my secret santa at janes blog. I got my stuff and can't wait to post pictures.
