So I am finally, completely, and officially employed! Not only will I be working at the chiropractic clinic but I also got the job at UNKL. Here's one of the so so so cute urban vinyl robot-y toys that they make! I am so excited for the opportunity to work at a creative company. Fun-employment is only fun for so long. I enjoy staying busy and even though this time has allowed me to get settled in a new city and stay super motivated with my personal creative endeavors, I need to get back to making money. Oh, and I also get to go to comic book conventions around the nation! Holla!

I signed up for a summer swap on www.craftydaisies.com and started making some potential swap goodies. This is my first swap and I'm not sure if these will both go in the box. It's just been fun to try my hand at some different stuff. First is this green felt apple pin with hand stitching. I love oversized broches and this one has a terrific summer feel! The other item I made is this pen holder with heart shaped applique. I used this perfectly summery orange and brown bicycle fabric that I've had for a while. My camera isn't good enough to show it, but inside is a bar of elastic that holds in pens, pencils and other (summer?) necessities!
There's a couple more items that are not only possible swap goods but also going to be added to the 2007 Spring/Summer Antelope Baby line. I'll post these as soon as Dan pulls out his high quality camera and takes some shots.
For those keeping track- This week I accepted a part time position as a receptionist at a chiropractic and massage clinic. It's just a few hours a week and I'm still on the lookout for a position at a creative company. Know anyone that's hiring?
